Samuel Saenz Jr. was born on September 28, 1964, to Samuel and Maria Saenz. He and his wife, Kim Cloutman Saenz, were married on March 27, 1999, and have made their home in San Diego, California, where they have built a life centered on family, hard work, and shared experiences.

Together they raised their son, Samuel Saenz III, who graduated from San Diego State University in 2022 with a degree in Computer Science. He has since embarked on a career in the rapidly expanding field of Artificial Intelligence, continuing the family tradition of dedication and achievement.

Kim retired in 2021 after more than four decades of distinguished service with the United States government and the U.S. Navy. Her long career reflects a strong commitment to public service and excellence.

As Sam prepares for his own retirement, he looks forward to embracing new opportunities, traveling, and enjoying the next chapter of life with family and friends. One of those adventures recently included a two-week cruise along the Rhine River in Europe, a journey that prevented Sam and Kim from attending this year’s family reunion.

Though they may be miles away, Sam and Kim remain deeply connected to their family and heritage. They cherish the traditions, stories, and bonds that unite the Saenz family and look forward to future gatherings where new memories can be made and shared for generations to come.
